Trump and U.S. imperialism have launched the harshest offensive against Cuba since the Cold War. The strengthening of the sanctions is having devastating consequences for the already crisis-ridden Cuban economy. The price is paid, like in Iran, by the Cuban masses.

Both the Democratic and Republican parties have supported the goal of defeating the Cuban Revolution and what remains of the planned economy in Cuba, ever since the victory of the revolution in 1959.

The example of a planned economy, only 90 miles from the United States, that drastically raised living standards, education, and healthcare for millions of people, is absolutely unacceptable to both parties and the billionaires they serve.

We need international working-class solidarity to defend the gains of the Cuban Revolution, fight against the capitalist restoration that is already tragically under way, and build revolutionary struggle against the capitalist class and their rotten system.
