She led the fight to win the first $15/hr minimum wage in any major city, now the highest in the nation at $20.76. She won the Amazon Tax that funds hundreds of millions of dollars annually for affordable housing. And she won historic renters’ rights like a $10 cap on late rent fees, a ban on winter evictions, and 6 months’ notice for rent increases. She won by building movements of working people to fight the rich and both their parties. As she did on the city council, if elected, she’ll accept only the average worker’s wage and donate the rest to working-class movements.
Adam Smith is bought out by billionaires and the Zionist lobby, and has repeatedly voted to fund the genocide in Gaza. His biggest donor last year was the Zionist pro-genocide AIPAC. He voted in favor of George W. Bush’s Homeland Security Act in 2002, which created ICE. He’s bankrolled by Palantir, which contracts with ICE. Smith and the Democratic Party have paved the way for Trump’s attacks on immigrants and working people.
