There has been overwhelming majority support for a Medicare for All national healthcare plan for many years now.

Bernie Sanders and Pramila Jayapal have put forward Medicare for All legislation, but have no plan to fight for it.

Democratic Party politicians, including the party’s progressive wing, have no intention of building the kind of movement that is needed — their party is tied at the hip to the health insurance industry and Big Pharma, and up to their eyeballs in corporate donations from both. 

What’s needed to break the impasse is a fighting movement with decisive leadership.
