SEATTLE Unionize Amazon Everywhere: Rally at the Spheres

  • Amazon Spheres 2101 7th Avenue Seattle, WA, 98119 United States (map)

Amazon workers around the country are fighting to unionize. On Saturday, March 18, Amazon workers at the massive KCVG Air Hub in Kentucky launched a major union campaign demanding $30 an hour, 180 hour Paid Time Off, and union representation at disciplinary meetings. This is the most important union campaign happening anywhere in the country.

KCVG is the biggest Amazon Air Hub in the world—workers there process more than 500,000 packages a day. If Amazon workers win at KCVG, it would inspire union drives at Amazon warehouses around the country, like what happened after Amazon workers in New York won a union in 2022. Amazon knows that too. That’s why they’re going all out to stop workers from unionizing. Amazon just fired one of the workers of the organizing committee in January—they’re trying to scare workers away from unionizing.

KCVG workers are responding by fighting back harder. On March 18th, they held a huge rally right in Amazon’s parking lot, and they got hundreds of working people to show up in support. But Amazon has millions of dollars to try to stop workers from unionizing.

We need solidarity actions all over the country to show Amazon executives that working people have KCVG workers’ backs and to win a union at KCVG. Join Workers Strike Back, socialist Councilmember Kshama Sawant, local labor unions, workers from KCVG, and other working people for a Rally at the Spheres this Saturday, March 25 @ 11 am. The rally is part of a National Week of Action to demand that Amazon stop union busting and to support the union campaign at KCVG. We need everyone who can be there to come, so we can build a strong movement to unionize Amazon everywhere! RSVP now!
